Debora Picciarelli

Volunteer

Architect, Database Designer & Textile Artisan

Profile

Architect and textile artisan operating at the intersection of structured technical discipline and embodied artisanal practice. Her trajectory integrates two decades of analytical work in enterprise IT environments— relational database administration, AutoCAD/BIM design, and facility management systems — with a deliberate professional reorientation toward textile craft, garment construction, and tailoring.

This convergence of formal training and traditional textile transmission received within her family — then consolidated through certified professional training — informs her contribution to the Humanizer program as a domain of hands-on material competence, where structural thinking is translated into embodied craft.
